In a blender combine:
- 1 mandarin orange (peeled; save some for a garnish)
- 1 1/2 ounces bourbon
- 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
- 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
- A few dashes of Angostura bitters
- 1 cup crushed ice

In a blender combine:
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 3/4 cup lime juice (save a wedge for a garnish; if you don’t have fresh limes handy, we recommend Nellie and Joe’s Famous Key West Lime Juice)
- 8 ounces tequila
- 3 ounces Grand Marnier
- 3 to 4 sprigs of cilantro
- 1 to 2 tablespoons agave nectar (sweeten to taste)
- 1 teaspoon ground chipotle
- 4 cups crushed ice
For the rim, combine in a shallow dish:
- 1/3 cup kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground chipotle

Spiced Pear Daiquiri
In a blender combine:
- 1 1/2 ounces dark rum or rhum agricole
- 1/2 ounce spiced simple syrup (recipe below)
- 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 of a fresh pear, cored and chopped
- 1 cup crushed ice
Spiced simple syrup
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup allspice berries
- 1/4 cup cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 whole nutmegs
- 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Over low heat, combine all ingredients except vanilla in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat, strain and add vanilla extract. Syrup will keep for up to three weeks refrigerated.

Pomegranate Piña Colada
In a blender combine:
- 1 large pomegranate (or 1 cup 100-percent pomegranate juice; we recommend POM Wonderful)
- 1/2 of a fresh pineapple, cored and chopped
- 3/4 cup cream of coconut
- 3/4 cup white rum
- 3 cups crushed ice
Garnish (optional)
- 3 pineapple slices
- 3 teaspoons shredded coconut
Toss pineapple slices with coconut to coat, then add to rim of serving glass.
