The return of daylight saving time always brings a mix of emotions for me. It’s harder to wake up early when it’s dark outside, though I do love coming home when the sun is still beaming into our apartment, or meeting friends for an evening cocktail al fresco.
An ice-cold Moscow Mule, or a variation made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, for a “Tito’s American Mule,” is my go-to drink choice and a perfect warm-weather refresher. I’m also a fan of the Prickly Pear Margarita at Salazar, a local Silver Lake hot spot, and its bright fuchsia color alone makes it a close second.
